Leadership for Mathematics Improvement
The Leadership for Mathematics Improvement (LMI) process helps
schools and districts plan, implement and monitor a comprehensive
mathematics improvement plan. LMI provides customized support for
developing a mathematics leadership team; examining the research
and best practices in mathematics curriculum, instruction, assessment
and professional development; creating a vision and shared beliefs
about mathematics teaching and learning; and building the district's
capacity to sustain a curriculum improvement effort.
