Problem Statement
  • You are going to be an explorer on the first space colony to be set up on the moon in the year 2020.  You will travel in a rocket that has several large tanks.  You will be gone for six months.  You will work in small groups to plan what you will need to take with you.  There will be groups to work on each individual category of needs to survive on the moon in this colony.

Rubric
  • 5= The student participates and completes all the assigned activities with correct grammar, no misspelled words, and has neat work.  The final product shows a complete understanding of the objectives taught.
  • 4= The student participates and has most of the words spelled correctly, most of the grammar is correct, and most of the work is neat.  The final product shows a good understanding of the objectives taught.
  • 3= The student participates sometimes, has some of the words spelled correctly, some of the grammar is correct, and sometimes the work is neat.  The final product shows some understanding of the objectives taught.
  • 2= The same as above except the student barely participates and the work is barely done correctly.  The final product shows little understanding of the objectives taught.
  • 1= The student does not participate or do any of the activities.
